Layman’s Homily
Two brothers, Tony and Brandon D’Arienzo, both devout Catholics and engineers from the Georgia Institute of Technology, invite you into to join their podcast as they address questions stemming from living out our Catholic faith in the modern age. Our mission statement: To leverage the power of mass communication to connect with other Catholics striving for holiness in their daily lives. We started The Layman’s Homily because we are both passionate about our faith, and we both enjoy reading and writing. We hope, by sharing our experiences, that you will be empowered to continue fighting and striving to be a Catholic man or woman, because it is worth fighting for.

Podcast Pillars
Our podcast is Rooted in Scripture, Practical, Relatable, Informative, and Creative.
Rooted in Scripture: We strive to pull all wisdom from the Word of God so that what we say does not stray from the truths of the Catholic faith.
Practical: We strive to share tangible and achievable ways to put the knowledge discussed into action.
Relatable: We aim to share content that others can listen to and connect with not only on a theoretical level, but also on a deeper level through personal experiences.
Informative: We “do our research” before every podcast so others can learn something new about the feasts in the Catholic Church, a Saint, or a teaching.
Creative: We aim to find unique ways to integrate secular culture into the spiritual life using special segments.
